I was a therapist in my heart long before I received the education and the credentialing for it. God put a passion within me to help heal soul wounds. 

Originally from Michigan, I earned my Bachelor of Social Work Cum Laude from Western Michigan University in 2015. I earned my Master of Social Work Magna Cum Laude from Michigan State University in 2016. I hold a School Social Work certification, a Clinical Trauma Professional certification, and I am currently becoming certified in Medicinal Plants with Cornell University.

I am licensed to practice in both Hawaii and Florida and have been practicing for 10 years. I began my career in Michigan as a School-Based Therapist before moving to Maui, Hawaii in 2019. On Maui, I continued my path of working primarily with children, adolescents, and their families as a Behavioral Health Specialist for the Hawaii Department of Education. From there, I worked at The Community Clinic of Maui. I've been blessed with the opportunity to work with thousands of people over the course of my career. In 2023, I moved to Oahu for my own healing. From that birthed a dream that I had since I was 17 years old: to open my own private practice. 

I currently live in Medellín, Colombia, fulfilling another lifelong dream of living abroad and learning Spanish. I work 100% remotely and am happy to service your needs. Thank you for your interest in Slay Therapy. All praise to the Most High!
